RP2: Performer Registration Closed

Thanks to everyone that submitted early, we've got 10 different acts lined up and a few more tentatively just in case. If you want to play but didn't submit an RSVP in time, still come on out for the jam sessions! A tentative schedule will be released shortly.

And for all those non-performers out there, remember that this is absolutely free and does not require registration. Just come on out, bro/sis!

RP2: Call For Peeps! (Performance Slots Available)

Ruh Roh,

Reopen Phoenix 2 is about to go down! That's less than two weeks from now at Devils Hideaway on Friday, April 9th, from 8:00pm – ?:00am. If you missed the first one last year, Reopen Phoenix "…is an experimental open mic community dedicated to personal creativity and expression through the aural arts, in a low-pressure, friendly environment." And this time, in addition to the pure, beautiful, sonic ear food, there'll be food and drink service as well. Apparently there'll even be a poker tournament going simultaneously for some reason. Sweet.

Sound tasty? Just show up on April 9th and soak it into your ear sponges. Or even better…

  1. Register a ~15 minute performance with us ahead of time at http://reopenphoenix.com and let us experience your passion for ourselves! The sooner you put you name(s) in the better time slot you'll get. (We'd like to keep on rockin' right up until closing time, but still need a few more acts to do so. Don't be shy now, people. :) ) Don't be afraid to just show up with an instrument, as well, but performer RSVPs are MUCH better.
  2. Help us spread the word! Even as a spectator you can massively help the cause by getting additional ears to come…preferably attached to somebody, but whatever. And that means tweetting (#reopenphoenix), facebooking, myspaceing, and face-to-earing the word out all across Phoenix.

Open your ears and express yourself in Phoenix's aural experiment.

RP2 Performers Need To RSVP *Now*!

With the quiet relaunch of the new reopenphoenix.com website, performers need to register for the upcoming April 9th, 2010 show now. We're looking to get 18 performers RSVP'd within the next week. You will receive your time slot a few days before the event, with the best slots (in our opinion) being given to the first to register. In the meantime we'll post the tentative lineup on this website. (Feel free to ask for a specific slot, though. After the registered spots are filled, only ad-hoc spots will be available, so RSVP now!!!
